It is impossible to eat to get physically strong if you do not also exercise, otherwise you'll just gain weight. It's the exercise which is the most important part of gaining strength; eating a generally healthy diet (plenty of fruit and veg, lean protein and carbohydrates) will help, but it is an adjunct to the exercise, not a replacement.
