It is impossible to eat to get physically strong if you do not also exercise, otherwise you'll just gain weight. It's the exercise which is the most important part of gaining strength; eating a generally healthy diet (plenty of fruit and veg, lean protein and carbohydrates) will help, but it is an adjunct to the exercise, not a replacement.

Unfortunately, there is also nothing that you can eat increase mental strength, beyond the 'balanced diet' rules. If there was, everyone would be doing it. If you're lacking vitamins and minerals, your physical and mental strength may be affected, but they will be restored upon ingesting enough vitamins and minerals (consistently). However they cannot be boosted beyond your current upper boundary purely by diet. Also, lack of sleep can affect physical and mental strength - make sure you get enough.
