This depends on the rider in question, they are both good dependable bikes. The 150 is a 5 speed, weighs 216 lbs, seat height 32.5" with a 52" wheelbase. The 230 is a 6 speed, weighs 242 lbs, seat height 34.3" with a 54.5" wheelbase. (would be a little more stable with longer wheelbase)
