- Most people on drugs think they know all about it and they refuse to believe they could get hooked on drugs and are different than most other people so it is a waste of time talking to your friend and realize your friend has to learn the hard way. As difficult as it may be for you tell your friend you are walking away from the friendship because you are sad and tired of seeing them misuse the drug and, if they happen to come off the drug then you are open to continue on with the friendship.
