remove pin from end of magazine tube at barrel muzzle, pull magazine tube from forearm, forearm is now ready to be lifted off barrel
There should be a screw or release lever under the forearm of the gun. Once you release that you should be able to remove the barrel.

Overzealous refinish, lunchbox special, criminal obliteration of sn.
There have been 9 variations of the Silver Streak (C9 & CB9) that all used the larger Forearm. It started with the C9 in 1995 to today. Before that it was the model C that had a slim forearm
No, it will not. Check this website for a 1400 stock and forearm. Under the description it specifically states that it will not fit the sears 300 model. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/PROD/1400stocks/RAM14111
I believe that the C before the serial number on your savage model 99E means carbine. These would have had a 22in barrel, checkered pistol grip stock,5 shot rotary magazine.they were made from 1960-1982,in 243win,250sav,300sav,or 308 win.
First, unscrew the magazine tube cap, located at the end of the forearm. Then pull the action back to about half-way, then you should be able to pull and jiggle the barrel and forearm free. To reassemble, slide the barrel and forearm back on, and pull the action back until the barrel slides into place, then rescrew the magazine tube cap.
yes just sand it and cover it with clear coat

on top of the barrel should be written the makers name and possibly the model name. you will need that information to locate a forearm. Put a want to buy (WTB) ad on gunboards.com or gunbroker.com. Also try gunparts.com. you might be lucky..........
Follow the link to the related question. The model 94 is definitely a J. Stevens product.
The serial number is found on the under side of the gun before the forearm.

Check this list on the Remington Society of America: http://remingtonsociety.com/rsa/service
Yes. It has a white forearm and butt-stock with a blue barrel and receiver.
I don't have one in front of me, but if it's like other Model 94s you should be able to just grip the forearm near it's muzzle end and pull it off. It's probably held on by a spring like other 94s.

Slide the forearm back and look under the weapon for a hole just under the forearm. Use an allen wrench to remove the screw and the gun will come apart.
If it is a Side by Side like my Western Long Range Gun, pop off the forearm - mine is marked in three places: the wood of the forearm, the metal of the forearm, and on the action. My Model 37 has the serial number stamped on the front of the reciever, opposite the slide for the pump. It is in the area between the magazine tube and the barrell.
Reccomend looking at the parts listings at Gunbroker.com. Also periodicals such as "The Gun List" and Shotgun News. The Liege model is not often found, and a forearm can be difficult. Its possible that an early Citori forearm could be fitted and something to check out. Also try the Gun Parts Corporation on line.

If you are asking about the Crosman 1924 model 22 Caliber. ( it has a pump handle under the forearm, ) Then it was the second Crosman air rifle made. It has great value. removal of the fore arm is a simple enough task. grasp the barrel just above the forearm and grasp the tip of the forearm and pull it may be hard but it will come away. to replace the fore arm seat the bottom into the frame and be shure the spring retainer is in the nitch and perss back together. please watch your hand placement to be shure when the forearm "snaps" back into place… Read More
On the under side of the receiver, right ahead of the lever mechanism. Just behind where the forearm contacts the receiver.
