If you're being interviewed for a law enforcement position, you should wear professional dress (i.e. a business suit or at least dress pants and shirt/tie for men, with women wearing the female equivalent). It would be a bad idea to show up in your NORML tee-shirt with torn jeans, for example.

If you're being interviewed by law enforcement officials for some other reason, then I don't think it matters so much, but the NORML tee-shirt is still probably a bad idea.
