The Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Designator, like all Navy Warfare emblems before it (Submarine Dolphins, SEAL Trident device, etc.) is worn on the left breast of the uniform above the ribbon devices, if any are authorized.
However, if the member is qualified in more than one Warfare Specialty, the current warfare specialty the member is working in takes precedence for uniform requirements. For example, as a Submariner, I of course had Dolphins to wear once I became Qualified in Submarines, but we did have the occasional skimmer (surface navy guy) go insane and volunteer for the Submarine Force.
If he was Qualified as an ESWS, and then subsequently became Qualified in Submarines, he would wear the Submarine Warfare badge (Dolphins) in the normal spot above the ribbon device, since he was currently serving in the Submarine Force and not the Surface Navy. The ESWS badge would then be worn underneath the ribbon device.
On the left side of your dress uniform for the Army. Usually below the other badges if you have room. Navy, Marines, Airforce will wear ribbons of the left side of the dress uniform. Ferguson
Dolphin patches are sewn above the left breast (above the pocket) in approximately the same position it would be if the badge were worn on a dress uniform.
On the left side of the uniform no matter what uniform it is precisely 1/4" above the pocket CENTERED
by your chest on the right hand side up and down vertically
The parachutist badge worn on the Army Service Uniform is the silver parachute with a blue canopy. It is commonly referred to as the "silver wings."
With the BDU/DCU uniform, it was the wearer's left side for non-combat deployments and overseas cantonment, and it would be on the wearer's right side for combat deployments (or deployments which had such potential). Since the adoption of the ACU uniform, I've only seen the flags worn on the wearer's right side.
what cloak and what are you talking about?
Depends upon the uniform. When medals are worn, ribbons go on the right. When only ribbons are worn, it goes over the left pocket. The Navy PUC ribbon is wore on the left side, it is the highest unit citation awarded in the military.
According to the current AR 670-1, (Feb 3rd, 2005 w/ Summary of Change) on pg 298, you wear the CAB, (Combat Action Badge) 1/4 inch above your ribbons, centered, or if the lapel covers your badge, you wear the CAB so the left edge is aligned to the left edge of the ribbons.
Most agencies wear the badge on the left.
Because Medals and Ribbons are worn on the left side of the uniform, over the heart, whilst badges which have meaning, but less significance to them than Ribbons Or medals which signify Campaigns, achievements, or special assignments. Compared to Badges which just signify knowledge.
The 1980 Cardinals uniform was identical to that of the 1979 uniform. The 1979-1980 uniform was very similar to the uniform the Cardinals wore from 1976-1978 and 1981-1984, with the execption of the placement of the uniform number. In 1979 and 1980, there was no uniform number on the front of the jersey. Instead, a smaller uniform number appeared on the side of each sleeve, just above the trim striping. Overall, the home uniform was white, double-knit pullover (no front shirt buttons). The 6th version of the famous "birds on bat" logo placed on the front of the jersey (yellow bat with one red cardinal perched on either side, and a red script "Cardinals" hanging from the left end of the bat, with the "C" hooked on the bat - all embroidered, all trimmed in navy blue). The neck, sleeves, elastic pants slash, and side of uniform pants were all trimmed in navy blue/white/cardinal red striping. The stirrups were Cardinal red, and the striping (when players chose to show it under the pants leg) was two navy blue stripes on either side of one red stripe on a solid white field at the top of the cardinal red sock. The hat for both home and road was solid cardinal red, with a white "S T L" logo outlined by a thin navy blue line. The uniform number did appear as usual on the back of the jersey, with the players last name arching over the number, both in Cardinal red and outlined in navy blue. The road uniform was identical, except instead of white, it was a powder blue. The Cardinals sported this powder blue look on the road from 1976 through the 1984 season. From 1971 through 1975, and again from 1985 through 1991, the road uniform was grey. Before 1971, and again in 1992, the Cardinals had the traditional button down front jersey, with belted trousers, instead of the pullovers with the built-in sash belt.
