Well, Abraham Lincoln was a president while Robert E. Lee was the leader of the Confederate army. Now this is more of a matter of opinion, so I'll tell you mine...I personally think Abraham Lincoln was a way better leader than Robert E. Lee.First off, Abraham Lincoln was fighting for a better thing, uniting the country and ending slavery. But this does not really come into play about who was a better leader.Secondly, Abraham Lincoln's Union won the war! Although Robert E. Lee's Confederate Army was outnumbered, they had many more experienced soldiers, whilst the Union had very few trained soldiers and many young boys, so it's not like Lee was at a disadvantage...Thirdly, Abraham Lincoln went down as one of the most famous men in America. But if you asked Americans who Robert E. Lee was, 75% of them would probably say no... Thus showing that Abraham Lincoln was probably a better leader...So all-in-all, Abraham Lincoln was a tad bit better of a leader than Robert E. Lee....
Lee was a brilliant general, probably the best on either side.
