The unfertilized eggs of birds, be they chicken, ostrich, or hummingbird are all single cells..for a few examples. also, jellyfish are 1 huge cell with the procreative sample of DNA with a thin membrane of musclish only 2 cells thick though small because the jellyfish's lack of a pump besides for swimming, and overall lack of a circulatory system. im not done, ever eat an orange or grapefruit? those membranes filled with juice are single cells. apples are just barely visible, may need a magnifying glass or wear reading glasses. with a cloud chamber, you can see individual atoms, just a side note. spinal cord cells go the length of your body but are probably ultra fine silkish thread. many circumstances with wood and bark you can see individual cell walls. though the cytoplasm and stuff is fairly too small to see without a microscope.
A microscope.
because cells were unable to be seen without the aid of an electron microscope
In the human body, the largest cell is the unfertilized egg cell (100-200 micrometers). However, as large as it is, it is still only the size of a small dot made by a pencil. All unfertilized egg yolks are single cells, therefore frog eggs, chicken eggs and most certainly ostrich eggs, provide examples of easily visible single cells. These single cells can also be seen without the aid of a microscope:-The green algae Caulerpa can grow up to a meter long although it is a single cell. It can be seen in many salt water aquariums.-Look at what you are eating in an orange or grapefruit. Each tiny sac of juice, with its thin tapered ends, is an individual plant cell.-Thiomargarita namibiensis, the largest bacterium ever discovered, is no bigger than the period at the end of this sentence, but it can be seen without a microscope.
Most cells contain structures that are transparent and without color, which makes visualization difficult, even with the aid of a microscope. Cell staining is used to gain more information about cells and tissues, and allows for the structures within cells to be seen in great detail
Anything that is 'microscopic' can only be observed with the aid of a microscope and cannot be directly observed with the naked eye. Examples include microorganisms (any unicellular organism, single cells, molecules, atoms, etc.)
A macroscopic cell can be seen without the aid of a microscope.

In the scientific sense atleast, the word's usually used as a distinction from microscopic. Microscopic features are observed under a microscope, but macroscopic features are observeable by the human eye.

Between 1 and 100 micrometers, which is why you cannot see them without the aid of a microscope.
Any organism that you can see without the aid of a microscope. insects, animals, birds, plants
Since ribosomes aid in the production of proteins, the cell with more of them would be the better protein producer.

Macroscopic is when something is large enough to be perceived or examined by the unaided eye, where as microscopic is where you need an eye aid to help examine it. Example: For a rock you could examine it with your eyes without the use of a microscope, it would be macroscopic. The microscopic cell beside it, which you cannot see without a microscope, would be microscopic.
