You need to use iTunes in order to do anything involved with music deletion and addition. If you want to put the music on the iPod (I think that's what you meant to type), you put the music in the iTunes program (which, if you don't have, is easy to find, just google "latest version of iTunes" and you should find something on the main website), and depending on what you have your iPod's data management is set to (i.e., you have "Only add music with checkmarks on them" [or whatever it's called] or "Manually manage My Music" turned on, it takes only the music you select), it will either have you do it yourself or it will "Sync" the iPod with your computer's iTunes program and put all of your music on the iPod. If you have it set for only adding the music you want (either manually or by telling the iTunes program to selct and place only the checkmarked songs), you can choose what to put on or take off. However, if you let your iPod take all the music you have on iTunes, you need to remove the song(s) from iTunes in order to have the ones you want (meaning you need to take out the songs you don't want/like and then synchronize the iPod to the iTunes program.
