I have a 2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition my tires are P245/65/R17. I believe this is a standard size for all editions.
Open the drivers door , there should be an information sticker that shows the
original size tire that came on the vehicle ( sticker is on end of door )

The 2002 Ford Explorer XLT came with P235/70R16 tires from the factory. Check the sticker on the end of the driver's door - it will indicate the tire size and recommended inflation pressure for your Explorer (Helpfull)
