5.5 mm Allen Key
The Holden Barina vehicle is primarily in Australia although there is always the option to import a vehicle if need be. The Barina has been awarded the highest possible safety rating of 5 stars.
Hi, I'm not sure how you would fix that, but I'm sure someone at www.holdenbarina.net would be able to help you. It's a forum dedicated to Holden Barina's and the members are really nice and helpful.
T45
You need aTorx 45 size
Could be bad petrol or maybe the fuel injectors need cleaning.
I changed the brakes on a 1997 Holden Barina SB today (21/5/11). You will need a 10mm Allen key to take off the brake housing. Do yourself a favour and buy a set of Allen key type attachments for a ratchet. Makes it much easier.
You will first need to drain out the old oil. Once it is all gone, you can replace it with some fresh oil.
The flasher relay unit is under a black case on the passenger side firewall. To get into it you need to remove the plastic wiper surround to be able to access the screws.
need a diagram off drive belt on 1998 barina
Yes you need a Torx bit to remove the sump plug. Also be careful when you remove the sump plug, there is a O ring on the plug that may fall off. Oh by the way, alot of Astra bolts use Torx (Many manufacturers recomend that you replace the sump plug & o ring)
T-40 bit!
My Holden barina is purchased on 2006 new, not sure about the real model year ~ could be 2005. The instruction on the user manual is piece of sh*t. It took me about 4 hrs to figure out how to change. 1) reach to the back of the headlight and unplug the power plug that connects to the headlight. 2) there is a piece of black rubber that caps the entire area except leaving a hole for the plug. you can pull the black rubber off and reveal the back of the light bulb. 3) it has this clipping mechanism using a metal spring/wire holding the light bulb in, you should be able to figure out how to un-clip it, the hint is not the on the side where there is a screw holding one side of the spring/wire. 4) after you unclip it the light will just fell off as nothing is holding it and just reverse the steps to get your new headlight in place remember the entire process does not need any screw driver or any tool ... I tried to even disassemble the entire car just to change it ... I hop this helps someone out there and peace out for now. Does the power plug just pull out or is there a knack to it?
