Yes you can, use a duralast belt # 745K6 from autozone, it will run you about $28
I t is either a 79 or an 85mm belt
You can't bypass with a belt alone. You have to by a bypass pulley kit. The new pulley takes the place of the ac compressor and you use the same size belt.
remove compressor put a bypass pulley in its place replace belt
yes you can bypass ac with either a ac bypass pulley made by dorman or get a longer belt
yes but would not recmend the belt is pricy and hard to find if your compressor is bad thay do have bypass poleys to but it is also pricy if you need to get some string take the old belt off and go over the poleys with the string bypassing the compressor to get your belt size and go to the auto parts store to get the new belt and put it back on in the same patern as the old one skiping the compressor good luck
if you can reroute the belt to bypass the ac compressor all you need to work out is how much shorter the belt is that you would require
To bypass your ac you can use a Valuecraft brand belt part # 360k4
This is just a guess so take it with a grain of salt. I would buy a belt for the s10 without air conditioning and just bypass the air conditioning pump.
The serpentine should route the same as with the AC except fro the AC compressor. The belt will go straight past the compressor, so you will need a shorter belt to make the bypass work.
No, Have a look at the way the belt is. You cant just get a shorter belt and bypass the AC compressor as the belt would foul on the tensioner. u need a AC bypass pulley and bracket, and so far, i can only find these genuine
I had a 1995 buick lesabre and the A/C compressor went out in the winter time. I waited until spring to replace the compressor. In the mean time, I used a Dayco 72.10 inch belt and bypassed the A/C compressor and it runs fine.
