It take a 14mm head size for the socket or wrench. Not sure about the shaft size.
bumper is connected to fenders by several bolts that you can see if you open the hood and look toward the area where the nose and fender join.
Behind the front bumper cover. Stick your head down there and have someone give it a honk.
There are two ten mm bolts on top in the plastic header panel which must be removed. There are two more under the bumper cover. You must remove the bumper cover to access them.

The horn on my 94 Escort (same body style, I imagine) is in the very front corner behind the driver's side bumper cover. I had mine up on ramps and found it that way. I have no idea how to replace it short of removing the bumper cover. Luckily at this point it is just my relay that's bad. -Skihike
Yes but you well need to get new fenders a new hood new headlight assemblies and some other stuff
You must remove the front bumper cover.. There is no way to get around it, unless you drill holes in the cover where the light mounting screws are located..
I don't know the whole procedure but I do know that the bumper cover has to be removed in order to get the headlights out.
Open the trunk. Remove all the pushpin retainers. Look under the rear fenders.. remove any screws and pushpin retainers. Remove the braces, if any. Look under the bumper cover itself and remove any pushpins. When all these fasteners are removed, the bumper cover should just slide off. If you want to replace the whole bumper (metal and styrofoam included), take it to a pro or grab a service manual.
in body shop terms...if i said that "I had to paint the dog house" that would mean that i sprayed the hood, both fenders, and in newer cars the front facia/bumper cover. hope that helped
There are lots of different ways.
A bumper-to-bumper warranty will cover anything that goes wrong with the vehicle, excluding accidents. This is the more comprehensive cover so is usually recommended to customers.
