Remove the brake caliper and hang it out of the way, then thread 2 8 mm bolts into the holes provided on the disk. Screw them in and the brake rotor will come off.
Buy the repair manual (Haynes, CHilton, FOrd Factory). Remove the wheel. Remove the caliper. Remove the disc retaining screw. Pull off the disc.
There should be a screw located inside the hood on top of the front side marker housing. Once you remove the screw, start pulling it forward (the direction of where the vehicle is facing). Remove the calipers on the front ones and they should slide right out. On the back after you remove the caliper , you need a screw that fits the 2 holes by the lug nuts and screw it in until the rotor pops then just slide it out. keep your parking brake off. The rear one is also the parking brake drum. If your rotor is rusted to the wheel bearing, which it probably will be, use a hammer on it to attempt to break loose the rust and release the rotor.
1st remove the tire, than remove the brake caliper there are two bolts that are in the back side of the caliper slide the caliper unit off the rotor. on the front of the rotor there is a Phillips set screw next to one of the lug nuts remove it than tap the rotor. You may need to spray some lubricant to loosen any rust or build up. Than replace.
a Phillips head screw driver
you remove the brake caliper and the caliper bridge use two 8mm by 125pitch bolts and screw them into the holes until rotor comes free It also works on a 2000 Thanks!
a little 8 mill screw on bottom of rotor into dist shaft
Loosen the screws on the cap and there is a single screw holding the rotor to the shaft
1. Remove the screw to the rear of the front sight ramp.2. Remove the "blade" from the front sight ramp.3. Remove the screw from the front of the front sight ramp (which was formerly seated under the "blade").
There are two screws securing the ramp to the barrel. One screw is quite obvious at the rear of the ramp. The other screw is under the front sight blade. Remove the front sight blade and you will be able to remove the mounting screw.
Remove set screw. Then tap the rotor with a hammer. The rotor should break free. It has just rusted itself to the axle, due to condensation.
