On the right side of the engine underneath the exhaust manifold forward of the transmission bell housing flange. There are three bolts holding it and you need to access the bolts from the transmission side (aft) of the engine. The size sockets is 14mm and you may need several extensions. You may have to loosen some electrical lines and transmissions fluid lines to gain access to the starter bolts.
There are two bolts on the bottom side of the starter, they have 15mm head size.
