Well I am confused because Falabella's are the size of a pony but they were supposed to be a horse breed and all my horse and pony books have different answers so please help me I am confused!
a pony can be any size up to 14.2 which is about 147cm. a horse is anything bigger than this.
A horse has to be over 14.3 hands(hh) and a pony is under 14.2hh.( a hand is about the size of a grown persons hand.
It depends on your height and the horse. If your looking for something for a child get a pony. If it's for an adult get a horse and if it's sound make sure to go on a little ride so you make sure it's the right size.

You could have a pony about 13.0 hands tall but no smaler and a horse at any size but you might want one 15.2 hands tall or shorter.
