A standard full-size guitar should be appropriate in almost every case for a teenager, regardless of their body size or hand size. Some extremely small acoustic Guitarists (Ani Difranco, Tim Reynolds) have simply adapted their small frames to the size of the instrument with amazing results. I feel like beginning to learn on a 3/4 size guitar could potentially limit your facility on a larger instrument later on... so you should just get used to it now.
hmm.. fender does make smaller than usual Guitars as does Epiphone (gibsons other company) you can always go with , but like I tell parents people grow into guitars I started when I was 13 or 14 with a full sized fender stratocaster knock off myself.
learn guitar tabliture
get some picks and keep the guitar in tune always and you'll do great
a regular size guitar is fine unless the 14 year old is really small than u can by most guitars in a smaller 3/4 size. may also be called "baby" or "mini"
As a guitar teacher I can say yes, a 12 year old should play a full size guitar.
Depends upon the size of the 12 year old. Sorry, couldn't resist. I have 12 year old students and I stronhly recommend a standard scale, full size guitar. A smaller neck will only rob the child of a lot of progress when he/she decides to step up.
If I am correct in thinking that you meant a 10 year old child, It does not really matter what brand of guitar it is. What matters is the size. I recommend that you start out with a relatively cheap guitar just in case the child wants to back out later or accidentally breaks the guitar.
Depends on his/her height you can choose 3/4-size (if less than 5') or full size.
its smaller than a 1 and bigger than a two quarter

A half size classical nylon guitar. I work in a music store and that's what every five year old gets

He bought this Martin guitar '69...guitar is 42 year old
Depends on the size of the child, take them along to a music shop and have them hold one.
It really depends on how matured, physically, he/she is and how experienced they are. I am a male and I matured to a full size guitar when I was 12 so I would say yes. Just let them try it out :)
anyone can play guitar.
A 3/4-sized guitar would be a better choice. If you consider buying an electric guitar, keep in mind that it's quite heavy for a 9-year old and frequently carrying it on a strap may result in spinal disorders - so I was told in a guitar shop.
