Eurgh, i typed out a large explanation but it wouldn't save. I'll be breif.
It all depends on the quality of size of each individual song and picture. One 3 minute audio file could vary from 3mb to 20mb depending on the format it is in for example.
Okay, if your songs are saved in the same location, I.E one big folder, right click on that folder and select Properties. This will show you how much memory this file is taking up and give you an idea of what size external hard drive you need.
It doesnt matter if there are folders within the folders either, you just need to right click on the first one you click on to access your files, for example, "My Music" may have different files inside it catergorised by Artists names or Genres but to find out the correct size you just need to right click on "my music" or whatever folder you store your music in.
Its the same with your pictures aswell, you just need to add both the files up that hold all your music and pictures and VOILA!
If you do not understand what i meen, a 500GB hard drive should be more than enough and you can buy them quite cheap these days from websites like www.Amazon.com or www.kustompcs.co.UK or alternatively, most computer stores.
Hope i helped!
And i hope those 6000 songs were obtained legally :P
Simply connect your external hard disk to your computer. Then select the songs you want to play later, copy them and paste to your computer hard drive. And after disconnecting your external hard disk you can now play the selected songs from your computer hard drive.
it would be able to hold 150000 songs
You can protect your docs, mp3's, pictures and any other items that are valuable to you by backing them up from time to time. You can back them up to your hard drive, or use a cloud based service or external servers. The last two usually charge yearly fees for this service.
Approximately 3GB would store 1000 songs. Storage space needed varies depending on length and quality of the songs, but 3GB would cover 1000 songs at 3MB each.
How you put pictures on downloaded song
Yes.
To transfer iTunes from an external hard drive to a mac, simply go to finder and click on the external hard drive under devices on the left. Once that window opens you can either open the tracks or drag and drop them into one of the hard drive directories.
no password needed. you go into rock band 1's main menu, and select "export songs" you need a hard drive for this, and it takes about 20 minutes. Then put in Rock band 2, and it will automatically show the new songs.
depending on how many pictures you have, i know you can roughly get 750 songs on a 4g player without pictures, with pictures you can probably have about 500-600 songs, remember some song files are bigger than others, same thing with pictures
about 1750 songs. i don't know the number of pictures but there is more difference in file size with pictures but definitely more then the number of songs.
1000BG can hold as much a you want to put on it. I mean like think you have a 500GB hard drive and can't believe that it has over 20,000 items on it + downloads for your computer. Now with 1000 GB you can put so much pictures and videos + Pictures documents and other files.
There are multiple reasons for example: 1. If someone has maxed out there computers internal hard drives then they can use an external hard drive as there storage while keeping all there internal hard drive files intact. 2. If someone wants to keep business and personal programs seperate. 3. Also if someone needs a large amount of space for a home run business.
