Should be 3/8" Actualy,On the fuel tank sending unit, there are 2-(5/16") lines and the pressure line is a 3/8" line, but DO NOT use a standard fuel/emmissions line for the pressure line. This line should be a high temp. SAE J30R9 or equiv. fuel injection pressure rated hose.As for the other 2 smaller lines on the sender, standard fuel/emmissions line will be fine.I just happen to have one of these apart on my shop floor right now.I just soldered some bad spot in the tank and have totaly recoated and refinnished it.I hope to reinstall it in the morning.Hope this helps. tooldude56
What happens when a 1989 buick reatta fuel filter goes bad?
car stalls backfires hard to start
I have a 1990 Buick Century 3300. Just replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator. It was leaking gas. Replace the vacum lines to the Fuel Pressure Regulator but I still smell gas inside on the driver's side compartment. The smell goes away when opening the windows. Where would there be a fuel leak that would cause the raw gas smell inside the car but not outside of the car?

The fuel filter is on the carburetor. Depends on whether it is a 4 bbl or a 2 bbl. Follow the fuel line where it goes into the carb.
MAY I ASSUME YO MEAN SENORS? TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THERE IS NO CENSORSHIP FOR OWNING A BUICK. aARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE "Oxygen Sensor" (typical one that goes bad).R SONMETHING ELSE?
Fuel pump strainer goes on the end of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank.
on the fuel injector rail It will be the round piece that a vacuum hose goes to.
On my mom's 1992 buick lesabre the same sort of thing was happening, sometimes heat came on, sometimes a/c and would not shut off once came on, i wound up changing the unit that has the push buttons and fan speed control , it's a complete unit and usally can find one on ebay.
I HAVE THE SAME VEHICLE AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM... THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. THAT SOLVED MY INTERMITANT HIGH IDLE.
I also have the same issue with my 1995 Buick Lesabre. It started happening when I overcharged the battery and now the horn goes off at 2am, 6am, and all hours. I have had to disconnect it at both horns under the hood.
I would guess a failing fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
