If your trying to ad freon, your hose from the can will only fit the small line fitting, it wont allow you to access to high pressure side. The fittings will usually have a small black cover on them, just unscrew it and your fill hose will connect to it. You can only fill from the low side, the fill hose wont fit the high side fitting
