The book states from 2002-2007, the front cv axle nut is a 34mm.
192 ft-lbs according to a National Bearing publication. The nut is recommended to be changed with the bearing (dealer only part).

No you have to loosen the lower ball joint take the spindle out of the lower control arm to pull the axle out. I was able to pull the axle thru the steering knuckle .After removing locking hub, rotor and spindle. (a slide hammer worked well for spindle)

Drain tranny fluid. Remove 30mm nut on axle end. remove brake caliper and disconnect tierod from spindle. Turn spindle all the Right. Pull axle from spindle. Then use a pry bar to remove it from the tranny. Be carefull NOT to damage the axle seals. Pry against the metal case of the tranny. It will just pop out. Installation is reverse
