The sending unit on a 351 Windsor may be located in a couple places. One is behind the housing in the intake, another spot is above the oil filter, and a third is by the thermostat.
On a 351 cubic inch Ford Windsor V8 : I believe that is ( 40 to 60 PSI at 2000 RPM )

Torque the pan bolts to 15 ft-lbs. Tighten in a criss cross pattern.
1988 F-250 351 Windsor oil pump is located in the oil pan . You will have to unbolt the motor mounts and jack the engine up slightly to remove the oil pan to gain access .
