If its a second generation(98-01) you have 6-1/2" speakers in front and back. I own a 99 gxe and I've also got two 1" tweeters in the front located next to the door handles. Of course, I've seen some gxe altimas with options I would have only expected on a gle or an se so I'm not sure if all gxes have the tweeters.
