If you don't have metric wrenches, a 5/8" and a 13/16" wrench will work.

The fuel filter is under the car right by the left rear door, use a couple wrenches and take it off,
More than likely the pump will need replacment.
Swap the fuel pump relay with another like relay in the fuse/relay center. If the problem with the fuel pump goes away, the relay was bad. If not, knowing GM fuel pumps, the fuel pump is the problem.
GM vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches.
The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. From 1995-96 and up you have to replace the entire sending unit, cost is roughly $300.
Flare nut wrenches are used on fuel lines. Regular sockets are used on head bolts.
One end is a quick release. This will become obvious when you look at the new one. The other end is threaded. Use two wrenches to avoid torquing the connection.
in the quadrajet carburetor. follow the fuel line. 1" and 5/8" wrenches
Time for a good tune up with spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor. Don't forget the air and fuel filters.
60 to 66 LBS. Key on engine off. Can be 50 LBS. running.
