I would generally use either a PCI or PCI Express slot for a modern computer. AGP network cards, while they do exist, are extremely rare and expensive. ISA is too slow and doesn't have enough bandwidth for modern networking needs.
A network interface card can be connected to a standard PCI slot or PCI-E slot. The choice of what slot to use is up to the person building the system and also based on what expansion slot is unused.
the ip address you would use to test your own network card would be 127.0.0.1
No, only a micro-sd card slot. Although they might make another one with 4G LTE technology which requires a sim card
ExpressCards are not backwards compatible with CardBus or PC Card
Some of the higher end cards will use a double-slot format, where the card takes of two of the rear slots on the motherboard. You can then use two screws to support the card. The PCI-E bus also has a retention clip on the slot that locks the card into place. Remember to release the clip when you take the card out!
a sd card slot is a slot where you put a memory card.Usually when you are about to put some sort of memory onto something.Sd cards are usually found in digital cameras, or some cell phones, like if i were to use a sd card on a wii it would be mostly used to put pictures on it or transfer files onto it.
You don't need the adaptor ! The Corby has a micro SD card slot. Simply insert the micro SD card into the slot, and you're all set. The adaptor is only needed if you want to use the micro card in a normal SD slot. In which case, you insert the card into the adapter - and slide the adapter into the full-size slot.

NO the lg muziq is a CDMA phone and therefore doesnt use a sim card, it has an sd card slot for mass storage but no sim slot
That depends on which PCI slot Standard PCI slots are used by sound cards, network adapters, USB expansion cards and some video cards Some sound cards, network adapters and Wi-Fi cards use PCI Express x1 PCI Express x16 is strictly for video
