Many animals in the desert are nocturnal. Obviosly because of the sweltering heat. during the night is when many animals hunt, or drink.

∙ 9y agoDuring day they are saved from the burning sun. It is also helpful because other small creatures on which they feed come out of their holes at night. So they can easily take them as their food.
