Economic forces: Land in the West was cheaper and available for purchase for those who migrated west. There were farming opportunities in the West, while the East was becoming more crowded and developed. Social forces: Friends and family that had moved west would write letters to those in the East, convincing them to move and take advantage of all of the opportunity in the West.
The Middle East was affected by the west in the 20th century as a result of divisions between progressive and conservative factions.

West and South
The social structure in West African society was typically hierarchical, with a ruling elite at the top followed by nobles, merchants, craftsmen, farmers, and slaves at the bottom. Family lineage and kinship ties played a significant role in determining one's social status, and traditional societies often had systems of chieftaincy and councils for governance. Religion and spiritual beliefs also influenced social roles and behaviors.
The east coast, affected by the warm Mozambique current, is much warmer than the dry west coast, which is affected by the cold Benguela current.

Generally, the world. The Berlin Wall was a small physical representation of the Iron Curtain. The Iron Curtain divided Europe into East and West Germany and Berlin was at the heart of this miserable division. East and West Berliners and East and West Germans specifically were affected some call it beneficial others called it good intially, then after the glitz and glamour of the fall of the wall, people, mainly East Berliners and East Germans found they were leaft in the dust as a result of the fall.
