A Keyboard or Typewriter!
Don't press down so hard when you do actually write with a pen or pencil. I get writers cramp when I sign a check because I don't practice writing. I'm always using some sort of keyboard where I used to have to write stuff down. Therefore, the muscles I used to use to write have gone soft, thanks to the computer. If you wish to erase writers cramp completely, start writing everything and eventually you will have enough muscles to write stuff without cramps. Let me know if this helps as my fingers are starting to cramp from typing so much!
