I think it's in E.
Billie Joe Armstrong used to have his ears pierced, but only up through their "Warning Days;" he took them out before "American Idiot" was released in 2004. He also had his nose pierced in the early 1990s, but took it out before their second album, "Insomniac," came out in 1995. I think that's all. He also has his tongue pierced, go to 4:07 in this video and you can see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdGn_U5eJ8M&feature=related He's not Billie Joe at 4:07.. :)
In my opinion and in Musical History, The Harmonica has always been used to accompany the acoustic guitar
Yes, very often. In Like a Rolling Stone and many more of his songs he used a C harmonica.
A diatonic harmonica can play up to three octaves by using a playing technique called bending; it can thus be used to play any song. It is mostly used to play folk, country and of course blues music.Despite it's toy-look diatonic harmonicas are quite difficult to fully master and require musical theory knowledge and exercise.
A "G" harmonica is used, so the song would be in a key of "D".
Louis Armstrong, of course.
Yes he smokes and in his younger days he used to smoke marijuana
It was written by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer. Originally performed by Louis Armstrong. But it has been covered many many times by artsits from Billie Holiday, to Siouxsie and the Banchees.
I think it's in E.
No,not any more, neither doe Billie Joe Armstrong, they used to,but they got over their childish actions.
In the song "Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday, the only instruments are a piano and Trumpet. The real appeal of the song is in the haunting vocal performance of Ms. Holiday.
He used to have his ears pierced when Green Day was in the making of their album "Warning" but did not have them in the album "American Idiot" in 2004.
harmonica
Early Blues musicians used a combination of harmonica and guitar.
About the only unusual instrument used on the song "A Hard Day's Night" by the Beatles would be the harmonica.
