But, seriously. Singers do all the work in musical theater. That is why it's MUSICAL theater. But don't get me wrong, actors often sing and do more work than if they were just a singer. Bottom line, singers are important because they help move the story line along or just help make the scene more interesting. But if you were speaking of just theater. No singing...then, singers aren't really needed....
