There are some special needs children being homeschooled. Some parents pull their kids from the main stream for religious reasons. Others are pulled because they are having problems such as wanting to drop out, becoming pregnant, or staying in trouble. Overall though, it is mainly just normal everyday kids who have parents that want to be more directly involved in their child's education. Most homeschooled children do their school work and then hang out and play, jump on Video Games, read books, or go and visit their friends after regular school is out for the day. Their isn't really a set "type" of kids that homeschool anymore. It is becoming a more commonplace everyday.
