Cosmetic companies due their utmost to ensure that its customers who purchase their products are satisfied and will be "return customers" on a given product. Before a product is released, careful attention is paid to the possibility of allergic reactions on the human skin when a topical cosmetic is applied. When tests reveal none, the product goes to market.
If by chance it's discovered that indeed people with certain types of skin develop a rash or an allergic reaction to the product, the product will be withdrawn and their "cosmetic chemists" will be assigned to find a way if possible to change the chemistry of the product to make it completely safe.
