Any surface with texture will make it harder to slip. Other surfaces may include ones that cause a lot of friction. For example, wood. The soles of your shoes will cause friction against the wood.

You will need a very smooth surface that has less friction.

Should you excavate before you put down top soil?

If you have mostly clay soil and need good drainage for your plantings then yes - and you will need to make the area slope away in wet lands or slope toward the planting area in dry areas.

What would the slope be of a line parallel to one with a slope of negative two over three?

The slope of any parallel lines is always the same. Parallel means they are co-planar which means lie in the same plane, and never intersect. In order for the lines to not intersect you would need the same slope. In this case the answer is -2/3.

What do you need to use to clean a surface?

If it is a cleaning surface, like a home surface, buy some cleaner with that surface name on it, but if it's another kind of surface, then you would need to be more specific to have help.

How do you write equation in slope-intercept form of the ine that has a slope of -5 and a y-intercept of 2?

-7

What is the y-intercept if the slope is (33)?

To answer this question, you would need to know at least one point on the graph.

Does a spiral staircase have a constant slope?

Previous answer: "No because the line is not straight and the points of the slop is in different ares." The above is ambiguous. You need to define the term slope. The slope of a helix (or any curve) is normally defined as the slope of a line that is tangent to the helix (curve). And then you need to define, slope with respect to what? Normally that would be slope with respect to a horizontal plane. That slope, by definition, is constant for a helix with a vertical axis. The value of the slope of such a helix is pitch / (2*pi*R), where R is the radius from the axis. Then you have to consider where on the staircase you are. A staircase is not a single helix. It has width, or different radii. If you are walking up stairs at a constant radius R from the axis (on a helix), then the slope is constant. In any case, the average slope of the stairs varies with the radius R on which you are walking, so that would not be a constant.

What is the height of a cone if the slope height is 9?

We would need one other piece of information to answer it: EG. the angle of the slope, or the radius or diameter of the cone base, or perhaps, the volume of the cone would also help. We need just one of these aforesaid pieces of information in order to calculate height.

What is a real-world situation in which you would find the surface area of a cylinder?

You would need to know the surface area of a cylinder if you are a factory worker at Pepsi. You would need to know the dimensions of the label, so it will fit on the can.
