The volcano is just a name of shape of the mountain that explodes with lava. The volcano errupts when lava is errupting from depths of the Earth and forcing the surface to blow up and then the lava comes out. When lava is pushing the surface of the Earth it changes it's shape and it goes up. The source is lava.
