Fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels.
Yes they are, because they use non polluting wind power and provide energy that might otherwise require polluting sources of energy, such as coal, oil, or gas. The wind does not always blow enough to turn the blades, but, it does move enough to produce energy most of the time. Wind turbines do not pollute the wind, and they do minor damage to birds and bats. Nothing is perfect, and wind power is the energy that Probably does the least amount of damage to the environment, while providing an excellent source of energy most of the time.
Sources do not contribute to needs, they contribute to SUPPLY.Needs are generated by people and industry.
Currently, the world is heavily dependent on fossil fuel. But we might soon run out of it, and the amount of pollution it is creating is also alarming. The future of energy sources lie in the non-conventional sources of energy, most importantly solar, wind and tidal energy. Also alternative forms of energy like Hydrogen and BioAlcohol based fuels are close short term alternatives to reduce the dependency on fossil fuel. They produce little or no carbon di oxide, and are cheaper to generate too.
By using alternative resurces (most of which are natural and reuseable), people can conserve the energy that comes from finite resources. This helps to preserve those resources and also reduce the heavy waste that usually comes with them.
WIND ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENTWind energy is an excellent sustainable energy source, but no energy production is completely without impact on the environment. After all, even the slightest change in our surroundings has some effect, sometimes positive, sometimes negative. However, energy from the wind has very little impact on the environment for the following reasons:WIND IS CLEANERMany kinds of energy production produce harmful substances. For example, burning coal for energy yields sulfur dioxide, which causes acid rain. Wind energy helps offset traditional electricity generation's negative effects on the environment. Wind farms do not release any pollutants such as carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change), sulfur dioxide (which causes acid rain) and nitrogen dioxide (which causes smog). By supplying power from a clean, renewable resource, wind energy helps reduce pollution, keeping our environment healthy for future generations.WIND IS SAFEWind farms have many advantages for both people and animals. Wind farms are safe for animals on the ground, and since wind farms take up a very small percentage of land on which they are sited, most of the land can remain in use for crops or grazing. There are regions in the world in which wind farms can have an adverse impact on birds. However, many studies have been done in the United States and Europe on birds and wind turbines. Most of these studies have shown that birds tend to change their flight path in order to fly safely past the wind turbines. Nevertheless, at Horizon Wind Energy we always take into account bird migratory routes or flywayswhen siting our wind farms to prevent avian difficulties. We also take into account nesting grounds and other bird-related issues. To read our Corporate Environmental Policy, click here. For more information about wind energy and the environment, visit the American Wind Energy Association website.
Radiant energy is the safest energy for people and the environment.
The mining and burning of coal is the most damaging to the environment.
solar energy and win energy are the most environment friendly because the are renewable source of energy.moreover they are present in abundance.whereas water is also a renewable source but it is more difficult to renew it.hence solar and wind energy are the best option.
most engery sources are derivded from the sun,s engery
Examples of non-conventional energy sources, that have the most practical use, are tidal, geothermal, solar, wind and biomass energy. The main three advantages of these non-conventional energy sources are:decreasing dependence on fossil fuel resources.saving environment from pollution.not contributing to global warming.

The concept of integrated, sustainable energy management recognizes that we cannot depend on a single energy source, but that, instead, we need to use a mixture of energy sources. These energy sources have to be reliable, less damaging to the environment, and most importantly, sustainable. So, instead of moving only towards "clean coal technology" or "100% nuclear power," we need to incorporate other alternative energy types. Within IEM, there is also this idea of "micropower." Micropower is a concept that suggests we should move away from large-scale power plants, to more local distribution power systems.
The most common alternate energy sources (as alternates to to fossil energy sources, oil, gas, and coal) are : nuclear energy, wind energy, and solar energy.
The energy sources that I am most excited about all have lower carbon emissions, compared to conventional energy sources. These include Biomass Energy, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, and Hydroelectric Energy sources.
Most traditional sources of energy come from the
