Please refer to the Iroqois Indians religion question. There was no such word for 'religion' before the Europeans arrived. What the white men see as 'religion' is only a way of life for the Native American. In today's society is our way to be gluttons and hunt for sport; in the old days the Native Americans hunted only what they needed. That was their way of life; to respect the animals and not abuse them.
One sport would be lacrosse
Well besides the fact that Lacrosse is a very famous sport that many men and woman play it was also invented by the Native Americans (the Lakota or Sioux Indians to be exact) and the idea has been passed on and the rules have changed to what we call LAX or Lacrosse. The name was different when the Indians created the sport but i'm not sure what that was.
