Nantucket is a beautiful, quaint island 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The pace is enjoyable and there is a great deal to see and do. If you enjoy history and art this is the place to be.
Nantucket is the most active in the summer months. There are art walks on Friday nights where many of the galleries open their doors late. Visit the whaling museum and learn about an important chapter in the islands history. Did you know that Nantucket was the home port of the ship Pequot in “Moby Dick”? There are miles of bike trails on the island and the beach is never far away. Don’t want to do anything? Just enjoy the peace the island has to offer. If you want a quiet escape during the winter months consider visiting then. You can enjoy the Christmas Stroll and then head back to the warmth of a fire and a wonderful meal.
