Mississippi would have warmer temps. It is closer to the equator, and everybody knows, Michigan is cold. Michigan has freezing temperatures anywhere from before Halloween until after Easter, if you're in the lower peninsula. Up north is a whole other story, they get snow year round. But, if you average it, I suppose Michigan has several 90 degree days in July and August. The weather is out of control in Michigan, for the most part.
