cytokinesis
Prophase, Prometaphase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase
Technically, the term "mitosis" refers only to the division of the DNA, the genetic material; the division of the cytoplasm is called "cytokinesis" and usually occurs during any from late anaphase through telophase.

1. There are no centrioles in a plant cell whereas they are present in animal cells. 2. In cytokinesis, the final step of mitosis, a cell's cytoplasm separates in half with each half containing one nucleus. An animal cell membrane pinches in, creating a cleavage furrow until the mother cell is pinched in half. In plant cells, a new cell wall is constructed at what was the midline of the mother cell. 3. In plant cell during telophase, phragmoplast (acting myosin microtubules) forms in centre of cell where as in animal cell contractile ring forms approximately midway between the 2 nuclei of the dividing cell. 4. Plant cell has a cell wall & animal cell lacks it 5. In plant cell nuclear and cell division found in special regions called meristems where as in animal cell divides everywhere, all the time.
double chromosomes first become visible in which step of mitosis?
Glycolysis or "Splitting of sugar", has to happen in the cell's cytoplasm before cellular respiration can occur. I hope this helps!
cytokinesis
First the nucleus divides. Then the cytoplasm divides.

CytokinesisIt is the division of cytoplasm. It give rise to separate cells
The final stage is cytokinesis when the cytoplasm is split.
Cytokinesis is sometimes considered the last step in mitosis but is not actually a phase of mitosis but is initiated by it. Cytokinesis is just the process when the cell finally divides to form two cells which mitosis has prepared it for. Also because people are stupid and cannot tell the difference between the two.
A cell goes through 4 Major steps to fully complete Mitosis. The cell first goes through Interphase which is NOT a step in Mitosis. Interphase is when the DNA replicates. The first step in Mitosis is Prophase. This is when the DNA condenses into chromosomes which are attached in the center by a centromere. The nuclear membrane disintegrates freeing the DNA into the cytoplasm. Spindle fibers also begin to form. The second step is Metaphase. The chromosomes line up in the center of the cell and spindle fibers attach on either side of the centromere to centriols on either side of the cell. The third phase in Anaphase. The spindle fibers pull the chromosomes apart, half to each side toward the centriols. The fourth phase, Telephase, is when the cell divides into two daughter cells (half of the chromosomes to each). The nuclear membrane reforms around the chromosomes which then unwind. The splitting of the Cytoplasm is called Cytpkinesis. I hope this helps!

Cytokinesis is one of the last steps and it occurs after mitosis, its just as important. Cytokinesis is the step where the split in cleavage furrow is formed and cytoplasm is divided into two exact daughter cells.

The cytoplasm level would be too low in both cells, and this could result in cell shinkage (plasmolysis or crenation). This is often the first step in apoptosis (cell death).
