Mankind is in agreement that the sustainable future energy must be the renewable source e.g. hydro-power, solar energy (Photo-voltaic, Thermo-electric), wind energy, wave energy or biologically derived biofuel. However, the bridging gap from fossil fuel to fully renewable energy is in struggle by cost of renewable and environmental impact issues.
It is likely that mankind had to depend on alternative depleting energy like Nuclear power for quite a periods of time before achievement of renewable society.
