Abercrombie is a American style clothing store that was founded on June 4, 1892. It's founders were David Abercrombie and Ezra Fitch. It was origanally a sporting and excursion goods store until it was bought by The Limited.
Abercrombie and Fitch is the owner of three very large, popular, and successful brands throughout the world. The first brand is called "HOLLISTER", which is a clothing store inspired by true Californian style. The second is called "ABERCROMBIE KIDS", which is also a clothing store that is inspired after it's older sibling, Abercrombie and Fitch. It was inspired by the smart, elegant, and classic styles of early teens in their prep school years. And finally, the third brand is called "GILLY HICKS", which is once again a clothing store. However, it sells female undergarments and other accessories. I hope this information helps!
An Aberzombie is a person who conforms, either wittingly or unwittingly, to fashions in the style of Abercrombie & Fitch.
skinny jeans, Abercrombie and Fitch, fingerless gloves, Hollister, and painted finger nails.
The people in Europe tend to dress towards the American style of attire. Most of the time they dress in clothing that resembles items from stores such as; American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale, Pac Sun., Abercrombie and Fitch, ect... I hope that my answer has provided you with enough information to get started. As i have never actually been to Europe, but i do know people who have.
I like both, that explains my username. Often, my sporty friends like aeropostale more, while my more calm friends like abercrombie more. that's right i personally thinkaero fabric is better but ambercrombies fashion is cuter -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- abercrombie/Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister Co. (all owned by Abercrombie & Fitch and pretty much the same thing), obviously. Aeropostale has an awful sense of style -- they stitch their logo and a bunch of polka dots all over a T-shirt and call it cute. Abercrombie & Fitch also has their logo on some of their T-shirts, but most of their stuff is cute, vintage, and original (ie. camis and cardigans). Aeropostale may be cheaper, but the quality is cheaper, too. Basically, it's crap. My town is rich, so if you're ever caught in Aero clothing, you'll be a social leper for life.
Hollister Co. was mainly created to have a less expensive version of Abercrombie and Fitch, with the same California Surfer apparel for individuals ages 14 through 18. EDIT: Hollister was created to have a target market aimed towards high schoolers and have a 'west coast/california' style, whereas Abercrombie and Fitch's target market is college students and has a 'east coast/new york' style. Ruehl no.925 was designed with a post college target market and a 'east coast/new york' style as well.
Personally, im totally into abercrombie. Most of my friends are to. But alot of them like hollister too! its about half and half at my school. and btw's its just a style of clothing people like.
