These substances are acids.
Water is the missing substance.
Carbon dioxide can form carbonates when it react with a basic substance
Carbonates of active metals.
Both metal carbonates and metal hydrogen carbonates form carbon dioxide when mixed with acid.
The gas carbon dioxide is released.
Yes, it is the basic property of an acid to decompose the carbonates into carbon dioxide.
Carbonates and carbon dioxide are considered inorganic despite containing carbon.
Carbon Dioxide
indeed it does my friend
Not on its own, and it depends on what is burning. A fire can only produce carbon dioxide if the substance burning with the oxygen contains carbon. And even then, if there are other elements, you will get more substances as products. Carbon will produce carbon dioxide and usually some carbon monoxide as well. Hydrogen will produce water vapor. Sulfur will produce sulfur dioxide. Magnesium will produce magnesium oxide.
Carbon dioxide is a pure substance that is a compound.
Although Carbon is present in all organic compounds, carbon dioxide is not considered to be an organic compound. Nor are carbonates.
