The type of compressor is a Generation 3 Eaton M90b.
It is a roots type blower.
The parts dept at a GM dealership can print you one.

could be a locked up compresser or clutch
The supercharger will do this automatically. When cruising the supercharger vents pressure and the vehicle operates similar as though it is normally aspirated using much less fuel. If mileage drops off you might want to verify whether or not the bypass system is working.
empty the oil out of it then remove the bolts from the nose. i believe there is 13 of them but not sure. then carefully slide it off. remove the coupler. then replace the coupler. line up the holes and reattach the nose. replace the bolts and tighten them down. fill up the supercharger oil.

i have a 98 grand prix gtp, and when mine came on i went to the local auto parts store and they were able to check it for free and got the codes, ended up being my egr valve
there should be a 5amp fuse in the glove box to pull out
