What symbolic losses do Muslims experience after a death?

There is no afterlife so Muslims, like everyone else, suffer brain death and cease to exist as anything but a lifeless corpse.

Unless of course the body is kept alive on a respirator or something.

But since the brain is dead the person is dead, so its just a hunk of meat connected to a machine.

The above answer is based on arrogant nonsense. In fact, there are many forms of evidence for the existence of an afterlife, and absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support the proposition that there is no afterlife. (For example, do a search on Google, or on YouTube, for "afterlife evidence".)

What happens to Muslims is much the same as what happens to everybody else - it depends on their openness, their absence of arrogance, and their level of preparedness to be surprised.

Muslims loose absolutely nothing, the things that it seems that they loose cannot be a loss. Let's think about it. To understand this, let's suppose that we are dead. And let's suppose that we have our conscious and mind there for a moment for talk. Me (M) the the first answerer (A), non-Muslim.

A: Look you lost your life, you didn't do what you wanted. You lost many things that we didn't.

M: Really? Show me what you have that I don't.

Do you see the nonsense? Even if there wasn't an afterlife, we Muslims would loose nothing. And we are ready and prepared for that.

BUT WHAT IF THE AFTERLIFE EXISTED? Are they, unbelievers ready and prepared for that? For the great JUDGMENT?

Simply WHAT IF THERE WAS AN AFTERLIFE?
