Oxygen and carbon dioxide change in the lungs.
lungs.
You inhale oxygen/ It flows to the lungs. The lungs transfer the oxygen to the blood stream in exchange of carbon dioxide , which is exhaled. The blood stream flows to all parts of the body, and exchanged the oxygen for carbon dioxide, in muscles and other body organs. The carbon dioxide is then carried to the lungs and exhaled. This then begs the question, 'What happens to the carbon dioxide?. Carbon dioxide is a heavy gas and fall to the ground. Whereupon in is inhalked by green leafed plants; grass/leaves etc., In these plant, under the process of photsynthesis and in the presence of UV(sunlight) light, the plant breaks down the carbon dioxide into carbon , which is kept in the plant as biomass. The oxygen is then released back into the atmosphere for animals to breath. It is a natural cyclic process. That's putting it very simply. I am sure there are more complxities in the system.
The element CARBON enters the body in two NATURAL ways. First is through eating and drinking. Almost all food that we eat contain the element carbon. As the ingested food reaches the digestive system, food is broken down into smaller pieces up until the molecular level. Some molecules are taken into the circulation, while others are excreted down as feces. Second is by breathing. Certain air molecules contain carbon. One major air molecule is CARBON DIOXIDE. Some molecules are inhaled, but usually, CARBON DIOXIDE should be excreted from the body. Unnatural ways when CARBON could enter the body is by medical intervention, as in intravenous injections, surgery, etc.
through sulpher dioxide then in your ear and out your nostril
Respiratory system
Oxygen and carbon dioxide change in the lungs.
The definition is, The respiratory organs of air-breathing animals, and the function is, to transport oxygen into the Bloodstream and to take carbon dioxide out of the bloodstream.
All of them. Carbon dioxide is produced by cellular respiration, which occurs in all organs.
The plant, through its leaves, manufactures carbohydrates from carbon dioxide and water with the simultaneous release of oxygen. Leaves, are the organs of the plants that make photosynthesis possible.
lungs.
The organ is gills.
Lungs
Carry oxygen and nutrients to organs and carbon dioxide and metabolites away from organs
Breathing is the process wherein the living organism inhales oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide, whereas respiration is the process that uses oxygen to produce energy. Breathing is a physical process, but respiration is a chemical process. Breathing occurs with the help of organs like nose, mouth, lungs
It passes through the lungs.
