First select the table or cells. You can then choose the Format options or Autoformat options or style options. These will enable you to change whatever you need to change in your worksheet.
Click the References tab, click the Table of Contents button
If you are using HTML, use the Cellpadding attribute in TD tag of the cells you want or in the Table Tag if you want to apply it to the full table. You can use style sheets to do it too, or if you are using something like Dreamweaver, there are options in the settings to adjust the cellpadding.
There are styles built into Excel. These define things like the font size, colour, number formatting, alignment and other things, all combined together. The standard style that is used is called Normal. If you apply the Normal style it has settings for each of those formatting options. There are other styles available and you can also create your own styles.
Once you have inserted the table a new tab should appear on the task bar at the very top of the page. Click on it and a list of styles for your table will be available for you to choose from.
In Excel 2007, after you have created your table, click on the table.Select the Design tab on the menu ribbon.In the Table Style Options, click on "Banded Columns"
A cell style just applies to individual cells. Table styles apply to tables in Excel and allow you to do things like have different formatting for the main part of the data and the headings and any totals you may have. A lot of these styles are built in through Autoformat.

Styles of table skirting includes straight and ruffles. They come in a variety of colors and patterns. Plain skirting can be used with embellishments added.
