There really is no technique for playing the Trumpet because everyone has there own way of playing it.
Circular breathing is in no way necessary to play the trumpet. Most music does not actually require you to master the technique. At most, circular breathing is a useful technique that can aid in playing. There are other more important things to master.

It's harder to play in tune, about 1/3rd smaller than the standard student model Bb trumpet. Eb trumpets are mostly used to play solos.
Sound it out! Record it, and play it. Play it on the trumpet until you get it right. Keep trying. Remember, the trumpet only has 3 keys!
