Solubility.
I think it is because too much water in our body can damage the cells if it 's not controlled by kidneys.
Calcium chloride can absorb very much water and become a solution.
Antidiuretic hormone ADH
Because normal kidneys will absorb all the sugar from the urine, unless uncontrolled diabetes puts so much glucose in the blood that the kidneys can no longer absorb it all after producing urine.

yeah, very much
The kidneys are the major organ of homeostasis. They control the water volume in blood by measuring the salt content of the filtrate as it produces urine. If the concentration is too low it tells the kidneys to release renin, which releases angiotensin II, which then releases aldosterone. This then tells the kidneys to retain more salt which increases the water retention in the body. The negative feedback chemical to this is atrial natriuretic hormone release by the heart. There is no organ that measures and corrects the water volume in the body. Water volume is controlled by salt concentration.
Yes. Raw marble (untreated marble) will absorb water. However this doesn't mean it will absorb so much water it will have a significantly larger mass. Treated marble that has a thin silicon layer will not absorb water.
yes, if the blood cells absorb too much water, they can "lyse" or burst. therefore, drinking too much water is dangerous.
§The kidneys control how much water is reabsorbed; excess water is processed by the kidneys and excreted as urine
