I like mine around 390-410 degrees Fahrenheit, no higher.

A Yamaha Banshee runs at 180F, they certainly run hot. The coolers will help a lot but they like to run hotter than the four strokes.

The temperature gage in a 2000 Chevrolet 1 ton with a 454 should stay about in the middle of the temperature variation. It will probably run slightly hotter when towing.
A 1967 Chevy Impala with a 283 motor should run at a temperature between 180 and 195 degrees. The temperature is set by the thermostat which controls coolant flow.
