Can component cables give you 1080p quality standard?

"Component cables" normally refer to a set of three cables that carry analog television signals. There is an HD format for analog component signals but it does not support 1080p, only 1080i and 720p. In addition, equipment being sold from 2009 onwards does not support analog HD. Commercial pressure from program producers has resulted in HDMI being the only HD interface that is commonly available. HDMI supports content encryption to prevent copying of HD content and has replaced virtually all analog HD interfaces.

Just put a new battery in my 1994 Dodge pickup after it sat for 6 months and when you start it the main belt makes a lot of noise and there is smoke coming from the belt wheel in front of the starter?

The wheel (pulley) that you refer to is not the starter - it is another component (prob the alternator or a/c). It probably has a bad bearing and will need to be replaced. Remove the belt and see if the pulley spins freely, If it spins freely, then either the belt or the component is misaligned. If the pulley rattles, or sways side to side, or is hard to spin, the bearing(s) are bad and the component will need to be replaced or repaired.
